Let’s remember to bring your copy of the Rotarian for the Interact Clubs and  canned goods for the Senior Center.

Brooks was given the floor to fill out the offices for his year as president.  He put himself down as President, Al as President Elect, Luz as Secretary, Travis as Treasurer, Gary as Sergeant at Arms, Luz as Club Administration Director, Luz as Club Attendance, Travis as Magazine, Melanie as Programs, Gary as Club Trainer, Kim as Public Relations Director, Ray as Club Bulletin, Ed as Photographer, Melanie as Service Programs Director, Ed as Rotarian's at Work Day, Gary as Vocational Service Chair,  Gary as Ethics Chair, Luz as Music Competition, Daniella as Community Service Chair, Al as International Service, Dick as Literacy, Daniella as New Generations Director, Bill as PRIDE, Frank Mata as RYLA, Frank Mata as Interact, Ray as Rotary Foundation Director, Ray as Alumni, Ray as Annual Giving, Doug as Grants, Joe as Group Study Exchange, Ray as Permanent Fund, Ray as Polio Plus, Bill as Ambassadorial  Scholarships, Brooks as Membership Director, Doug as Retention, Ray as Rotary One o One.  Brooks said he is signed up for PETS on Feb 28.  He is signed up at the Marriot Hotel and he is taking his bride.  Our current number of members is 17.  Number of members as of June last year was 18.  The number of females is 5 so the number of males is 12.  November of members 5 years ago was 23 and the average age is 52.  Number of members been here 0-3 years is 3, number 3-5 years is 2, and the number over 10 is 12.  The rest was a lot of by guess and by gosh and I couldn't sort it out.

Gary said we made about $2200 at Bingo.  There are some expenses but we should net that amount.  We had about 135 players, we sold about 35 daubers and $756 on raffle tickets.  We have to pay out about $250 to the participants of the Horsemen’s Association and the Foster Care Program.  The Horseman’s Association didn't get paid for their part in the fare and that crimped their budget.

Ray announced the District Assembly meeting.  We are trying to get 17 members to go.  Its in Corona so you don't have far to go.  It runs on Saturday March 17th at historic City Hall which is 816 6th Street.  It starts at 7:50 AM and runs to 8:50 AM which is registration and it runs until 1:50 PM.  Its got Registration, Club Expo., Continental Breakfast, Fellowship, Welcome Announcements, Keynote Speaker, Greg Reed its “Three Feet from Gold”, Exciting Breakout Sessions, Great Rotarian Facilitators, Delicious Mexican Lunch catered  by Miguel's Restaurant and includes a glass of Green Beer.  If we register before March 1st its $20.00 per person and after that it's $25.00 per person.  It's got an address in here to send the registration with phone numbers and a free Club Expo Table only 30 tables available so reserve now.  There is a raffle for 1000 Paul Harris points.  It's on everybody’s E Mail you can get the announcement and a copy of the Registration to be sent in by the President for everyone going.

Cathy said she has a grant in hand for $5000 that is going in for an important cause.  She must have it by tomorrow so after much discussion it was decided to apply for scholarships and look into other matters as a separate project.
